Voter Registration
If you have moved, changed your name, turned 18 years of age, or are a new resident of Wisconsin, you will need to register or re-register to vote.
To register to vote in the Town of Brooklyn, you must have resided in the township for at least 28 consecutive days prior to an election.
You can register online at: https://myvote.wi.gov or print the Voter Registration Form and bring to the clerk's office with proof of residency.
In-person Voting Photo I.D. is required. Location: Town of Brooklyn, N5988 County Road A, Green Lake WI 54941 Hours: Monday and Wednesday 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.
Absentee Ballot Request
Any qualified elector who is unable or unwilling to appear at the polling place on Election Day may request to vote an absentee ballot. To obtain an absentee ballot, you may choose one of the following:
1. Personally come to the Township office to cast an absentee ballot.
2. Schedule an appointment with the clerk to cast an absentee ballot.
Tuesday, February 17- Spring Primary (if necessary)
Tuesday, April 7- Spring Election
Tuesday, August 11 - Partisan Primary (if necessary)
Tuesday, November 3 - General Election/Gubernatorial
Election Types:
Spring Primary – nonpartisan primary held the third Tuesday in February to nominate candidates to be voted for at the spring election.
Spring Election – election held the first Tuesday in April for Court of Appeals Judge, Circuit Court Judge, County Nonpartisan Offices, Municipal Offices, School District Offices, and referenda (if necessary), and in Presidential years, to express preference for the person to be the presidential candidate for each party.
Partisan Primary – primary held the second Tuesday in August to nominate candidates to be voted for at the general election and referenda (if necessary).
General Election – election held in even-numbered years on the Tuesday after the first Monday in November to elect the President and Vice President of the United States (in Presidential years), United States Senator, Representative in Congress, State Senator, Representative to the Assembly, District Attorney, County Partisan Offices, and referenda (if necessary).
